Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway with her voice, has given it some more recognition. It was her birthday celebration. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered a grand piano that was in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see the possibilities it offered. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to pursue music more as a hobby than a profession. Thus, she began with her own music. In addition to Bjork, she cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. She began performing her music in public when her mother said they could help people not be famous with her work but to make people see around them realize the importance of their work and how they can affect the world. Piano was her first instrument at the age of six. She started creating music after turning nine. The family members didn't know about her music until she reached 14. Aurora had no idea of being famous. Aurora claims she loves composing songs. She says that music is her preferred method of feeling something.
