Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished psychologist since 1993, and the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. Her name is often credited for starting the modern research into the study of eyewitness memory and child victims as witnesses in lawful situations. Prof. Goodman has published widely she has received grants from numerous sources and received many international and national prizes. She has advised numerous government agencies and governments around all over the world on policy and research relating to the treatment of children victims in the justice system. She serves as consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She's a member of numerous professional associations that include Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is also a part of Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She is the former President of the American Psychological Association Divisions for Policy for Children and Families and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
